In 2022, My designs were selected to be worn by UK popstar dodie for her Silver Springs, Maryland show. dodie is the first celebrity to wear my designs! It was an amazing experience to see the way my garments moved onstage. Originally designed for someone with bigger body proportions, I easily adapted the look with one pin to fit dodie, and it was interesting to see how the baggier silhouette changed the look!
During the pandemic is when I really began to hone my sewing craft. I spend many months designing collections in my bedroom and sewing looks for myself, having self timer photoshoots of myself wearing the looks (since it was unsafe to see other people at the time) and putting them up on my small business site.
